Merkel cell carcinoma: This is a rare skin cancer that usually occurs on the head and neck. These are very dangerous and aggressive lesions, with a very poor survival rate if they are metastasized upon initial treatment. The treatment is surgical. The cure is chemotherapy, which has little success.
